November 7, 2008: We’ve never seen colors on our trees and shrubs like this fall. We even have a couple roses starting to bud, but I don’t think they’ll bloom since a front will be coming through later today. In the morning I decided to snap a few pictures before the winds blew in and blew all of it away. Most of it is our spirea (bridal wreath)--so glad that Stan’s feeble attempt to kill it a few years ago didn’t work--and our “blonde” smoke bush. It smokes in the summer, and flames in the fall.
