No sooner do I bring this blog back than I find that I will no longer be able to update it. It is a Blogger blog, and they decided in their "infinite" wisdom that blogs that publish via FTP (like this one) will be phased out. There are other options, however none of them will work for me due to various technical reasons that I won't bother to discuss in a non-technical blog about semi-precious stones and jewelry.
I used to update this site via RSS, and then that got all screwy too, again, technical reasons I could get into that I won't. Let's just say it's a Google conspiracy, since Google disallowed the use of images in their RSS feeds that are uploaded to their products database. Google also owns Blogger. This is the same Google that used to bring twice as many people to my site...before they changed their algorithm in the midst of the worst economic depression in my lifetime (and I lived through the Reagan era).
I will go back to posting updates only on the first page (jewelry.shtml) manually, as I have been doing for a while now without the use of complicated blogging tools--just an html editor.
I've added another 5 sets with color themes in reds, pinks and violets for Valentine's Day: Coral and Garnet, Amethyst, Red Tiger Eye, Ruby Zoisite, Garnet and Ruby, and Carnelian.

Whether you're looking for something to wear to a February 14th night out, or if you're in search of that special gift for a gem lover, check out my latest listings. These most recent creations of mine are made with Valentine's Day in mind, using red, pink and purple-colored stones. More to come soon as well!

I just got through listing the last jewelry sets for 2009, and in a week or two I'll start listing about a dozen items with a Valentine's Day color theme...reds, pinks, purples, etc. Stay tuned!

I'm in the process of adding new jewelry sets to my sites. I'm adding them over at
Silverbeadz first because the process is simpler. I'll eventually add them here as well, but it'll take a little longer because of all the links I have to add by hand to my pages here. That's one advantage of having a shopping cart with a content management system (like at
silverbeadz). So if you want a sneak peak of what's to come here,
take a look over there.I also ordered a bunch of tiny little pendants that will be great for inexpensive necklaces. I realize that a lot of my necklaces are probably a little higher priced than some people want to or can spend, so I'll be making some more affordable ones as well. Of course some stones can't help but be a little more expensive because of the nature of the stone itself...obviously Charoite or Seraphanite will be more than Fluorite or Jasper. And then there's the problem of Sterling that keeps going up in price. I will always continue to use Sterling Silver beads and findings, however, regardless of the price.
